Today, I had a short group tutoring session with a brother
and sister. My tutoring partners and I talked about conditional statements and
adverb clauses. I asked the students to define what a conditional statement and
adverb clause and then asked them to give me an example sentence. Then I gave
them a couple of different example sentences and different options (with
different tenses) for the conditional statements. I explained adverb clauses in
a similar way.
