Pak TP# 11

My TP and I originally planned to meet, but my CP and another friend, wanted to go to Destin for the day.  I had no work to do and did not have any class so I obliged.  There were three of us total that went to Destin, my CP, TP, and another friend.  It took us nearly three hours to arrive at one of the outlet malls that the Brazilians wanted to go.  They told me that the clothing and apparel from America was sold at nearly 3 times or 10 times the price in Brazil so they wanted to buy a lot of things for their families when they return.  I was pretty much the driver and I explored the beaches and the sights around Destin while my friends went shopping.  I also had some time to talk to my CP and TP as well.  I asked my CP what he wanted to buy and he told me that he was looking for training shoes, gym clothes and watches for his father back home.  He also told me that he really liked the malls in the United States because in Brazil, the shop owners were able to gauge the price of certain things, but here in the US, the price was on the price tag.  We talked about his family back home and then we left the mall and went to other places, had lunch, dinner, took some pictures and then came back to Tallahassee.  My TP was very excited to see the beach and another city other than Tallahassee to be honest.  He was very excited to be in the United States and was very appreciative of all the accommodations, cleanliness and order the US had.  The only thing that he disliked was the lack of convenient public transportation.  We all joked about the public transportation system in the US literally forces us to have cars.

We had a blast, the Brazilians got to shop and practice their English.  In all, the day was epic.
