Yesterday I woke up early to shoot my bow and arrow with a friend at his apartment complex.
As we were shooting, my conversation partner FaceTimed me on my iPhone!
I was reallsy surprised and shocked to see that it was him. I rapidly answered the phone and I saw my conversation partner dressed in his traditional Kuwaiti attire.
We talked about his family and how surprised they were. I also talked to his two little brothers who understood very elementary level English, but you can tell that my conversation partner wanted his little brothers to practice their English. I also found out that his brothers liked playing soccer and are really really happy to see him.
We talked about his home and how he feels more comfortable, but he also mentioned that he misses Tallahassee and the American lifestlyle where everyone is focussed on work their individual business.
He also told me that he felt weird having to adjust back to his own culture and we both laughed at that.
We finished up and said our goodbyes.
