When I met Minseo, she introduced to me to Abdul, another CIES student who was interested in some extra tutoring. I was able to contact and set up a meeting with him very quickly and we were able to meet at Starbucks the next day. Just like Minseo, Abdul was very proficient in speaking and listening and probably knew English grammar better than I did, so I couldn't use the same approach that I had with my other tutees. He was also planning on going to a college in the US so we discussed the kinds of things he should do and we practiced academic language through those handy GRE vocabulary flashcards.
