Lindsey TP#10

Yesterday Zeb and I met with the Hong twins for the last time. Since snakes and ladders worked so well last time, I started with that. We played a few games of it (with mostly the same words and a few harder ones). He seemed to remember almost everything from the last time, and even learned a few new irregular verbs (teach-taught). It worked really well, I think. Next we played more hangman (since last time we only got to finish one game). I explained again what homophones are, and we did a worksheet about them quickly, out loud. He knew some of them, but asked about others. When we played hangman, we had to use sentences with two homophones in them (one that Matthew came up with was "I saw a plain plane at the airport"). He was really enthusiastic about this (I said that I'd go first to give him a chance to think of one, but he wanted to go first and had already thought of one to use). We took a break to play Uno with Zeb and David. That didn't take too long, and we spend the last few minutes finishing a game of hangman that we hadn't finished.
