Adam CP # 8
Today at a little after 4:30 I ran into Abulmohsen in the CIES lounge, where he and a few other people were holding a conversation. We ended up discussing his major, Computer Science, which he said was an easy major to him because of the fact that it did not involve much reading and mostly consisted of hands-on projects. We also talked briefly about International Coffee Hour and how it would be closed for three weeks because of Summer vacation. He joked about America being "Freedomland" and saying that he was irritated with the long 18 hour flight from the United States to Saudi Arabia. We also discussed the phrase "I gotta go" and how it often means "I have to use the restroom" in American English. He also said that he found Tallahassee kind of dull and boring, although he was with a friend of his who disagreed and said that he liked small quiet towns. In general, it was nice to run into Abdulmohsen and hold a conversation with him again.
