Matthew CP #5
Sung and I decided previously to meet up at 3 on Friday near the Union. Last time I met Sung he expressed interest in learning how to print things from the school library, so this was the first place I took him. I took him step by step through the, frankly over complicated, process of printing things at Strozier. I also gave him a quick tour of the Library, showing him where the quiet floors were and some of my favorite spots to study. I took him the by the Business building because he had told me he would be studying Business at FSU after he graduated from CIES. I showed him HCB and Bellamy too, because they were close and I haven't had a single semester go by without having a class in one of those two buildings. We still had some time left after this, so we walked to one of my favorite coffee shops, Atomic Coffee. Our conversation there naturally settled around coffee and I learned that it was familiar territory for him as he had worked at a coffee shop back home. The most interesting thing he showed me, however, was how texting worked on his phone because I was curious about he was writing the Korean symbols using the keyboard.
