Monday afternoon (the 12th) I met with Haneul. I started out using a modified lesson plan that I had recently developed. I told the story of one time when I was alone out in a big field at night and I heard a panther scream. I stopped telling the story right after the point where I heard the scream and asked her to come up with several sentences of what she thought had happened in the rest of the story. I then told what had really happened and introduced the term 'anticlimax' and 'anticlimactic' to describe the ending of the story.
After I told the story and we discussed it for a while I showed Haneul various documentaries on YouTube that I thought would be simple but interesting and would give her large amounts of English exposure. After we talked about various strategies of language exposure and acquisition we ended our session.
